It's a wrap! We are happy to announce the success of our recent Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) event, which we co-hosted with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The event, held at Eastin Hotel, Penang, brought together thought leaders, industry experts, and passionate advocates to discuss and promote sustainable business practices. Our managing director was one of the speakers, sharing insights on ESG in Malaysia.
The day began with an inspiring keynote address by YB Zairil Khir Johari (Penang State EXCO), who emphasized the urgent need for corporate responsibility in combating climate change. He highlighted how the community is aware of the problem and has utilized technology to mitigate the effects. This set the tone for the event, underlining the critical importance of integrating Artificial Intelligence and Data Transformation for a Sustainable Net-Zero Future.
Throughout the day, attendees participated in a series of engaging panel discussions and interactive workshops. These sessions covered a wide range of topics, including sustainable supply chain management, the role of technology in ESG, and innovative technology to contribute to sustainable initiatives within organizations. Each session was designed to provide practical insights and actionable strategies that organizations can implement to enhance their ESG initiatives.
In addition to the formal sessions, the event provided ample opportunities for networking and collaboration. Attendees had the chance to connect with like-minded professionals, share ideas, and explore potential partnerships. This aspect of the event was particularly well-received, as it fostered a sense of community and collective purpose among participants.
In summary, the ESG event was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and collaboration of all involved. We are proud to have co-hosted this impactful event and look forward to continuing our efforts to promote sustainability and corporate responsibility.
